Half an hour into The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, a troubling realization struck me - not a single genuine laugh had escaped my lips. The small theater crowd of about 15 people, several families included, remained equally unresponsive. Behind me, a diehard Nintendo fan dressed head-to-toe in Mario merchandise had actually dozed off. While clearly targeting younger viewers, even compared to repetitive kids' fare like Despicable Me, this film fails to entertain - and I say this as both a lifelong Nintendo enthusiast and someone subjected to endless children's movies.

After each statement commits, the next statement sees the bumped commit counter and calls reload_memdb_from_pager(), walks the sqlite_master B-tree and then re-parses every CREATE TABLE to rebuild the entire in-memory schema. SQLite checks the schema cookie and only reloads it on change.
